Australia's Top 5 Beaches
1. BONDI BEACH
Location: Bondi, Sydney, New South Wales
Bondi Beach is one the most visited tourists sites in Australia. It is located on the east side of Sydney, 7 kilometres from central bussines district. Its name "Bondi" (or "Boondi") is an Aboriginal word and it means: water breaking over rocks or noise of water breaking over rocks. Bondi Beach is the home of the world's first Surf Life Saving Club, which was founded about 100 years ago, and also played a key role in the development of few safety techniques and equipment that are still in use. Nowadays, Bondi is very crowded place except in the coldest months of the year. Around the coast of Bondi Beach, there are lot of cafes and restaurants, where you can just relax and enjoy your fresh drink or super tasty meal. Apart from Lifesaving club, Bondi is known for its Skate Park and Bondi Icebergs Pool. This pool (called Bondi Baths) is placed in the southern end of Bondi Beach and it belongs to the Bondi Icebergs Swimming Club, which was established in 20th century. It is a very big fun to spend the day there.
Nonentheless, if you are visiting Australia, Bondi Beach is definitely a must-visit place.

Location: Freycinat National Park, Tasmania
If you want to take some wonderful photographs, you have to visit this beach. Wineglass Bay is situated in Freycinet National Park, which is situated on the east coast of Tasmania (125 kilometres from Hobart). Wineglass Bay was voted by several travels authorities as one of the ten best beaches all around the world! And honestly? I am not surprised. The image of the sand contrasting the surrounding pink granite peaks and lapping turquoise water, is just beautiful to see with your own eyes.
In my opinion, Wineglass Bay is a right place to relax for a while. No fuss, only the sound of the ocean waves, light breeze and seagulls...what to say? It's terrific.

Location: Esperance, Western Australia
The beaches of Esperance are rated among the best in the world-and Twilight Beach is one the towns most loved. This beach is well-known for its gently rounded granite cliffs, which are randomly set in the water. This makes an ambient coastline absolutely scenic! Apart from that, there is impossibly white sand that meets unbelievably clear water, creating an amazing outlook and perfect swimming conditions. Fishing is also a common activity here.

Location: Near Cairns, Far North Queensland
The entire Great Barrier Reef in general offers a great variety of nature wonders. "One" of them are 23 seperate stunning white beaches on Lizard Island. This small 1000 hectares island sits on the eastern side of the (already mentioned) Great Barrier Reef and it is the faultless example of an awesome island getaway. There is only one thing, standing in your way, however, as an one the most exclusive beach destinations in the country, you will have to reach deep into your wallet if you want to spend the time here.

Location: Whitsunday Island, Whitsundays, Queensland
If you are going to Australia and Whitehaven Beach is not on your bucket list, you are making a really big mistake. Whitehaven Beach is namely the most beautiful beach in Australia. The sand is without a doubt the highlight here, the outstanding water and reef surroundings are certainly no slouch either. The surface of the beach is from silica, which is a substance that is contained in an extremely high-purity form of sand, with utterly fine grains that make it so soft to the touch and also prevents it from getting too hot underfoot. Whitehaven Beach has a myriad of coves and lagoons, which makes this beach as a great place for interesting, adventurous explorations.
